I have worked with Reeder Concrete since I first started at Brookshire Grocery Company over 5 years ago. Since that time, they have completed several successful projects. A few of these include our new ground up Super 1 Food’s store in south Tyler, our new pharmacy central fill facility in Tyler, and a full remodel at our Brookshire’s store in Seagoville, Texas. On the Seagoville project they came in and completed the project that was started by another contractor that was not performing up to our BGC standards. They are very attentive to their client’s needs and expectations especially given the accelerated schedules we sometimes encounter when attempting to get a new store open. The purpose of this letter is to review and recommend Reeder Concrete, Inc.. Reeder Concrete, Inc. has been a part of construction of several residential developments for our group. These projects consist of flat work, parking lots and architectural concrete. The designs of these developments incorporate significant topography changes to add to the complexity of the completion of the projects and the overall project design. Reeder Concrete, Inc. was added to the bidders list for the competitive bid process due to a need to separate the scope of work they perform for these projects due to the complexity of the projects. Reeder Concrete, Inc. continued to help facilitate the project by working with the design and development team to derive an even more competitive pricing structure even after their low bid was selected. During the project, and to make the project more economically viable, Reeder Concrete, Inc. helped work with vendors that were outside of their contract to facilitate raising the level of amenity to the point that these projects have been recognized in their respective categories. Reeder Concrete Inc’s ability to perform and construct their scope of work has been recognized by the municipalities where these subject developments are located to the point that the municipalities welcome our projects.
